Traveling for a few days, Ashton's B&B in the heart of the city exceeded all expectations. The homely atmosphere, excellent attractions, and activities offered by the hosts made our stay truly enjoyable. We felt safe with the locked gates and marveled at the quietness of the location. The beautiful furnishings and clean room, along with plenty of towels, were a pleasant surprise. Moreover, the tea/coffee bar and warm cookies in the afternoons added a lovely touch. Patrick's gourmet breakfasts were a delight, keeping us full till late afternoon. Highly recommended!

I recently had a lovely stay at Ashton's . It was a peaceful and quiet getaway, even though we are locals. The hosts, Mr. Ashton and Ms. Karma, were wonderful and attentive, making us feel right at home. The room and property were beautiful, and we were pleasantly surprised by the little extras like a coffee/tea/snack setup and the amazing homemade breakfast. The hosts thought of everything and provided great recommendations for attractions and activities in the city. The history of the home and the presence of a friendly kitty named Twiggy added to the charm. a perfect stay.
Can recommend this hotel.

My husband and I stayed at this charming B&B for a week. The hosts, Karma and Patrick, made us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious and varied every day. We loved the antique furniture and the beautiful 1860's home. The owners were attentive and accommodating, even adjusting for special diets. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we had the best sleep ever. The back courtyard with the ancient oak tree was a peaceful oasis. And, believe it or not, this place was cheaper and nicer than any hotel I've stayed at. We'll definitely be back.
Totally recommend this hotel.

The hosts were incredibly nice and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They left chocolates and snacks in the room, and the shower and tub had convenient dispensers for toiletries. They even adjusted our breakfast time to accommodate our schedule. The house is beautiful, with a fascinating history and a stunning live oak tree in the backyard. a perfect little getaway.
